Future Directions

Evan seeks to understand how cortical activity is organized and aligned with spontaneous behavior at the mesoscale and single-neuron level, using state-of-the art in vivo 2p imaging and whole-cell patch-clamping techniques, supplemented with computational modeling and slice electrophysiology.
